Heart Working Women is

dedicated to helping women grow in

honest community.

On the final day of a retreat I (Joy) had attended one of the seven ladies (Jenn), who was sharing the cabin I was in, suggested we could continue getting together weekly. We began gathering simply as a small cluster of women committed to one another and asking, “How is your heart?” (C.O.R.E.)

C.O.R.E. ~ Christ Ordered Restored and Empowered is a small group of women who purposefully connect weekly to support, encourage, and facilitate relational and spiritual growth. C.O.R.E. is another branch of Heart Working Women.

Our weekly C.O.R.E. (Christ Ordered Restored Empowered) gatherings, has become a bridge God is using for our personal, relational, emotional, and spiritual growth.

As a relational therapist, I understand the intrinsic value of these kinds of relationships and the growth they often bring. ~ Joy Thacker

Having this perspective I began creating and sharing this dynamic community template with others through Heart Working Women. The Heart Working Women Retreats are born from the need for community.

Through these communities (C.O.R.E. & Heart Working Women) God is doing above and beyond what we asked or imagined. It is His power at work among us. (Ephesians 3:20)
